Over the Easter period we ran 2 competitions for all of our students; one open to everyone; the other restricted to age 8 and under. We are really pleased that everyone had a go and engaged fully with the fun.
The Under 8’s competition was to count the number of Easter Eggs displayed in the Centre Easter Newsletter. This caused much debate as some of the eggs were only “half eggs” – did they count? The answer was yes they did, and the correct total of 40 was only entered by 1 student, Simran. A prize of a Waterstones Gift Voucher has been presented to Simran. We trust that much enjoyment comes bout as a result.
The other competition was for students to guess how many Easter chocolates were in the tub (in this case a Celebrations tub). Guesses were many and varied; COVID restrictions prevented students handing the tub or it’s contents so all entries were made using pictures of the tub + sweets. This made it easy for Kip Online students to enter in the same way as In Centre students.
Alison and Sue counted the choccies on Saturday 3rd April; the actual total coming to 128. From there, we decided to award 2 prizes: the 1st to Michael, with a very impressive guess of 129. A second prize was duly merited by Mariama, with an almost equally close guess of 125. Well done to all who entered, especially to our prize winners. The prizes (Chocolate tubs) have now been presented and presumably enjoyed over the Easter holiday.
