Sue & Dave

Sue and Dave met at Warwick University in 1982. They have previously lived in Mansfield, South Normanton (for 25 years) and, since 2012, live in Sinfin, Derby. They have a grown-up son who moved to Derby in 2017, living in Chellaston with his Partner. Sue has been a secondary teacher for her whole career since leaving University, latterly working as an advisory teacher for Derbyshire LEA. Dave’s degree in Engineering led to him working in Supply Chain roles in local manufacturing companies, prior to them starting Kip together in 2011. Outside of Kip, Sue loves to do craft hobbies and jigsaws. Having an odd hour or two to read books also features high on her enjoyment list. Dave enjoys travelling both to old and new places, taking photographs and gardening in his spare time. Sue & Dave both devote time to charity work since moving to Derby. Having the opportunity to improve the educational and life outcomes of Derby students has really inspired them to succeed in the Kip business. It is a life changing journey both for Sue & Dave and the students they have the pleasure of working with.
