At Kip McGrath Derby South we’re delighted that the Government have recently used evidence to recognise the important part providers such as ourselves play in the educational well-being of students. We agree completely with the statement that “no child should be left behind as a result of the learning they have lost over the past year”. We’re really pleased that The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has announced a new £700 million education package, providing help beyond the current academic year and comprising one-to-one and small group tutoring programmes, as well as supporting the development of disadvantaged children in early years settings together with summer provision for those pupils who need it the most. In addition, a new one-off Recovery Premium for state primary and secondary schools, building on the Pupil Premium, will be provided to schools to use as they see best to support disadvantaged students.
The Education Secretary , Gavin Williamson said that “the package of measures will deliver vital support to the children and young people who need it most, making sure everyone has the same opportunity to fulfil their potential no matter their background.” This describes the reason we, at Kip McGrath Derby South exist; to help children realise their full potential.
At Kip McGrath Derby South we’re well placed and available to play our part in these initiatives. We have a hugely successful track record over the past 10 years in delivering in these key areas. We look forward to continuing to help the children of Derby achieve a brighter future.
We are planning to fully utilise the forthcoming Easter and Summer holidays for 2021 to make real headway in our delivery to local children.
